This Country Inn & Suites in Mesa, AZ, receives mixed reviews, with some praising its convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. However, concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance issues, and unsettling experiences (such as door intrusions and a concerning neighborhood view) are prevalent among recent guests, significantly impacting the overall experience.
We checked in and received a text that we would not be getting any cleaning service for our stay. I called down for more towels and we never received them. I saw the laundry room and thought, oh my, this is awful. We had a very busy couple of days and were exhausted the night before we were to check out, we were woken up by two people banging on our door it looked as if the door was going to crash open. We called down to complain and the front desk informed us that they had someone from the second floor complaining of them banging on their door as well, she said she was going to look at the cameras I stayed on the line, she said she saw them. I then told her to call the cops, she informed me that there was one out front, I hung up and then it happened again. I called back and told her we wanted to press charges, she said she told the people to leave the property nothing else was done. Needless to say myself and my family were not happy, it took us a week to get over it. It wasn't clean and the breakfast wasn't good either. That pretty much sums up our stay! Never again!
I just booked a reservation and I want to compliment Jennifer who works at the front desk. She was SO helpful in booking our reservation because we have pet allergy issues. She told us that the hotel has certain rooms that pets are not allowed in for families like mine. She made sure that our reservation was in a non-pet room. She also found available to us through AAA and AARP. She is terrific representative of the Radisson brand. The organization should be very proud to have her as a team member!
Lots of restaurants around. It's back behind a bar and was a little sketch, but overall I felt safe. Rooms are dated but the bed was comfy the water was hot and the ac worked so all is well. It could use new carpet and furniture. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff was great, just needs an update. Freeway is also nearby but the ac noise seemed to cover it and I didn't mind that, but some would.
My husband and I flew into Phoenix/Mesa late last night for business and stayed one night at the Country Inn & Suites. The hotel is ~ 5 miles from the airport and we were so thankful there was a shuttle! The driver was prompt and nice and didn't talk much (really nice at midnight! LOL) The Front Desk was pleasant and chatty and checked us right in (she was a bit too chatty for me, but it was late and I was tired). The room on the 3rd floor was nice enough, but the bed felt lumpy and the pillows were the smallest, little squares ever. The toilet had a lean to the left and there was a death step getting into and out of the shower (watch out!). Ww did have a handicap room (which is fine), but that step out is dangerous - the tub is much higher than the floor. The shower curtain is on its last leg and looks like someone fell getting out of the tub and hung on for dear life! The shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers threw me and I spent way too long trying to figure them out (you PUSH the front, BTW ?). There are some other cosmetic issues, but some nice amenities (there's a night light on the hair dryer holder so you don't have to leave the bathroom light on.... that's convenient). Breakfast was standard, but tasty, and there was a nice variety of items. All in all, it was a pretty nice place to stay All in all, it was a nice room
The front desk staff is amazing! This hotel is lacking in every other area. Beds are broken down and terrible. Box springs are filthy. Door handle fell off the front door. Gym out of service and ladies restroom in lobby out of service. This hotel used to be our go to, however we won’t be back. We witnessed workers complaining about their jobs using some profane language while we were trying to enjoy our breakfast. Too many complaints and not enough time. If you consider this hotel, you might consider sleeping in your car as a better option. Zero stars is not an option, so I had to give it a star.
I left very unsatisfied and made the clerk aware. He did not really seem to care but told me someone would call me. Nobody ever did. The biggest reason I was unhappy is that I specifically stayed here instead of saving money at a rental was to have access to a gym. The gym ONLY had the stationary bike that was working. No other machines properly worked. My choices were weights or bike. Outside of that, the room wasn't very clean and definitely dated.
Dealing with homelessness right now with 3 kids. Have been staying in the same room for about a week & it has been incredible. Having complimentary breakfast before school downstairs has been a blessing . Being able to let the swim has been incredible & being able to use the computer to print important documents i needed was super helpful. The room service was nice because you know , kids.... lol . All above everyone has been so kind & helpful thank you ?
I love staying at this hotel every time I'm in town! So nice big and comfortable! The manager from the owner to all the workers are so amazing! And are so responsive if u need anything just ask them will bring it to you or help as best as they can. If your ever in mesa this is the hotel to stay at.
We stayed here unexpectedly. The staff was so fun and friendly and made our children feel at home. Homemade cookies brightened up their day! The breakfast bar is great and has a made to order waffle maker. The kids really enjoyed it and I have not seen them eat that much in a long time. Love the restaurant choices in the same plaza and parking was easy!
My boyfriend and I have stayed here many, many times when we’re in the area. The front desk, housekeeping and kitchen staff are all super friendly. Rooms are always clean, prices are reasonable and the breakfast is also pretty good. There’s even a waffle maker!
