Studio 6 Mesa offers a mix of budget-friendly amenities like a pool and helpful staff, but recent guests report significant deficiencies in room cleanliness, functionality, and maintenance. Occasional positive experiences highlight great value and friendly service, however, travelers should be prepared for potential issues with aging infrastructure and noise.
The bed felt like u sleeping on floor or box, the switches next bed not working, the TV has only one chanel and TV remote wasn't working so we had to turn on behind the tv and at first it was showing that it has No signal so we had to go downstairs and ask employee about that. I feel like everything have to be replaced here cuz the switches old and not working, tv has only 1 chanell and the other channels has No signal. The toilet is either so old or was not cleaned when we first got here,it's also hard to stay asleep in morning when your room is so bright. We had 226 room.
Friendly front desk workers and the maids are so nice .. clean motel clean sheets , no bugs not fancy but it s good place
Good spot for what it is staff are always nice they have the best rates most days that comes at a price in its self but they have a pool a hot tub and laundry rooms over all not a bad place if you are on a budget
I just stayed at this hotel when I needed a few night's sleep. First thing I noticed is how clean the hallways and room was. Actually that's not true the first thing I noticed was how friendly the front desk staff were. Check in took less than 5 minutes. I was a little concerned that such a low priced motel would be with partiers or druggies. Not thee at Studio 6. There's a swimming pool with covered cabanas and even something as small as an ironing board can be appreciated.. I want to say thank you to the hotel staff for hosting me and encourage anybody looking for a quiet peaceful night comfortable bed for a low price. Studio 6 is the best choice in Mesa in my opinion.
I honestly don't know how this property rates 3.5 star reviews. They've attempted an exterior refresh, but the interior features badly (permanently) soiled carpets, 1 hard plastic chair per room, wardrobe that was so beat to hell that the drawers wouldn't open. Lights over the bed didn't work and we were told "it's the dimmer switch"... No honey, the lights plain didn't work. We changed rooms. Only reason we stayed was proximity to train for hubby's work conf. downtown. Most of the "guests" appeared to be one-step-above-homeless drug users. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location. I regret not changing the minute we arrived. I would give no stars, but it wasn't an option.
This is an update Motel 6. A couple coats of paint make it prettier. No daily housekeeping. My parents are elderly and they didn’t have an accessible room available, I get that, but the tub and bathroom floors were very slick. People in the hall were very loud. Not bad for the price.
I’m traveling from Dallas to Phoenix and I travel often staying in extended stays once a month for two weeks at a time. This hotel has been upgraded and has clean and spacious rooms with a soft bed and a prime location. The manager Chrystal and The front desk staff Breanna both went above and beyond for my check in to ensure my process was smooth. If you’re looking to stay for work or pleasure this will be a nice place that’s central to mesa
Although the location worked for us, the room we had was terrible. TV not working, AC made the worst noise and we were not able to sleep, the toilet kept filling itself, the fridge was cracked and dripping water. Complained to several staff members but nothing was resolved, I requested to speak to a manager but was told they were not available but one would contact me, I am still waiting. I had an early flight so I was not able to wait to speak with a manager but I was told the message would be passed on and would be compensated. Again still waiting. The lack of customer service at this hotel will make me think twice about coming back and I hope gets other thinking before booking.
One of the best values I’ve gotten. It used to be transitional housing, but now it’s a regular hotel. Rooms are basic, but clean and the front desk was super nice about me checking out a little late. I would stay again!
Helpful and friendly staff. Fee of $50 that isn’t included in the online price so be aware of that. Private back entrance which was really nice to smoke I did get locked out though so be careful. Front desk was nice when they came and got me though.
